UNREST IN INDIA.
TROUBLE IN ALWAR. CALCUTTA, Nov. 20. A serious situation has arisen in AUvar, a Stale in Central India. The peasants in 100 villages are refusing to pay land revenue lo the Maharaja. The resislers include hundreds of men who served in the Great War. They have armed themselves with ancient rifles and muskets and have destroyed the roads and barricaded the passes leading to their villages. The men now are defying the tax collectors.
