THE WOOL OUTLOOK.
MR DEVEREUX’S REPORT. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received Nov. 28, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 27. Mr W. P. Devereux, representative of the Australian 'Wooigrowers’ Association in London, reports that the depreciation of sterling has stimulated continental competition at the wool sales. All countries arc competing freely. Yorkshire is now taking a better proportion of the 'offerings, good combings and saoureds are slightly dearer; faulty, Inferior, greasy, and scoured 'and ail pieces in less demand at lower prices. Fine cross-bred is selling well at fully October rates. Medium and coarse descriptions are 5 per cent, decline. There is very little new business in Germany, and futures in Antwerp and Rouba'ix are quiet,.
