OBITUARY
MRS E. M. G. FERGUSON. The death occurred in Auckland yesterday of Mrs Elizabeth Mary Georgina Ferguson, wife of Mr 11. J. Ferguson, solicitor, of Hamilton, and sister of ATr W. J. Hampton Reynolds, of Christchurch. The late Airs Ferguson had lived in Hamilton for many years and had been connected with several social services At the lime of her death she was an active member of the Lyceum Club and the Hamilton Horticultural Society.

LONDON. Nov. 20. The death lias occurred of Or. 11. It. Montgomery, formerly Bishop of Tasmania. He collapsed in his sickbed in his residence, Donegal. Ireland, a few minutes after the completion of the reading of the induction service contemporaneously with the induction of his son, Ihe vicar of SI. John’s, Wallasey. CAPTAIN W. D. REID. AUCKLAND, Monday. Cabled advice has been received of Ho' death in Sydney on Saturday of Captain W. D. Reid, R.N.R.. at. one time superintendent- of marine in Auckland. lie was over 70 years of age.
