RELIEF WORKER’S TWINS
PRAM URGENTLY NEEDED. WELFARE LEAGUE’S APPEAL. The wife of a Hamilton relief worker recently presented her husband with twins, but, as is the case with most of those on relief work, the father had insufficient funds to provide a perambulator for the newcomers. The babies arc now about three months old, and the mother is in urgent need of a pram. Confident that there is someone in Hamilton with a suitable baby carriage for which they have no further use, the Waikato Social Welfare League is making an appeal for assistance in providing this necessity for the mother. If any member of the community can assist In this direction a message to Major R. F. Sansom, the welfare officer, whose telephone numbers are 3352 and 2854, will receive immediate attention. -»
