SPECIAL ORDER AUTHORISING THE RAISING OF A LOAN OF £3150 OVER THE WHAT A WHAT A BRIDGE SPECIAL RATING AREA. Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Raglan County Council held on the 9th day of November, 1932, tlio following Resolution was passed, by way of Special Order, and will be submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the said Council to be held at the County Office, Ngaruawahia, at 11.30 a.m. on Wednesday, the 14th day of December. 1932:

Resolution. Moved by Councillor 11. W. Wilson THAT in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 17 of The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926 (Orders in Council under the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, the Finance Act, 1932, and Section 32 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, having been obtained authorising the raising of the loan) and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling, the Raglan County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: — 1. the Council proceed to raise a loan of Three thousand four hundred and fifty pounds (£3450) for the purpose of redeeming the Raglan County Council Whata Whata Bridge Loan of £4500, 1922. 2. THAT such loan be called “The Raglan County Council Whata Whata Bridge Redemption Loan of £3450, 1932.” 3. THAT the said Special Loan be repayable by half-yearly instalments of One hundred and forty-six pounds five shillings and one penny (£146 5s Id) each comprising principal and interest at Five pounds fifteen shillings (£5 15s) per cftntum per annum. ■i.THAT the said Special Loan bo raised by the issue of forty (40) debentures of One hundred and l’orty-slx pounds five shillings and one penny (£146 5s Id) each, the first debenture to bo payable on the Ist day of March, 1933, and one of such debentures to be payable on tlie Ist day of March and September in each year until the loan is fully repaid. 5. THAT the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for tiie repayment of the said debentures and other charges thereon the special rate of one farthing (id) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property .in tho Whata Whata Bridge Special Rating Area within ' the County of Raglan contained within the following boundaries: Including 111 e whole of the areas Contained in the Karamu, Karioi, Whaingaroa (both outlying and Raglan Town District) and Matakowhai Ridings of the County of Raglan, all legal subdivisions, and that portion of the Pirongia Hiding bounded on the North by the Kaniwhaniwha Stream, on the East by the Waipa River and on the South by a line following the Southern boundaries of Sections 195, 199, 199 A, 204, 205, 119 and 125 and the Eastern boundaries of Sections 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, 148, 149, 149 A and 386 and thence along the Southern boundaries of Sections 386 and 383 and thence North, along the Western boundaries of Sections 383, 384 and 379 to the Kaniwhaniwha Stream at the point of commencement. 6.
