The Meat Export Board has been advised as follows as to conditions obtaining on llic London market: Lamb Market. —Tone slightly easier with consumption decreasing as usual for the time of the year. MORRINSVILLE STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report having held their fortnightly stock sale at Morrinsville on Friday, when a light yarding of sheep came forward, for which there was keen competition, prices being in advance of late rates. The first store lambs of the season were yarded and realised 5s 9d apiece. A good yarding 'Of quality beef was penned and prices showed an advance on last sale’s quotations, fat steers in particular selling freely. The advertised line of strfion bred steers from Hie East Coast district attracted a good deal of attention. The quality was outstanding, and taking the yarding right through was without doubt the best offering of grown steers to lie submitted in the Waikato this season. There was, quite fair competition from a good bench of buyers and the whole yarding changed hands under the hammer at satisfactory prices. Pigs: There was a large yarding of fat pigs and a full yarding of stores and weaners. Competition for >fats throughout tlie sale was steady, values remaining firm at quotations quite equal io other Waikato 'Sales.
