FIRE BRIGADE SPORTS. The Te Aroha Fire Brigade Spirts Club is making a special effort to ensure ils New Year sports meeting being a real success. A fine programme- of running, cycling and Highland dance events with prize money via a liberal scale, lias been drawn up, and a lengthy nomination list is confidently expected. Special attention is already being paid to the sports oval at Herries’ Memorial Park, which will be in splendid order on New Year’s Day. Nominations close on December 21 with the secretary, Te Aroha.
