CLAUSES TO BE REVIEWED. ASSURANCE BY MR. COATES. (By TeleirranP. —Tress Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Advice from the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates that he intended to go into *he matter of reconstituting the Board of Trade Act, 'Commercial Trusts Act and the Cost of Living Act, was received at a meeting to-day of .the executive of the Associated Chambers of Commerce. Mr. Coates said he was pleased to repeat his assurance that, in his opinion, such clauses as might be considered detrimental to the welfare of the community would be very seriously reviewed. It might well be that consolidation of all the enactments' complained of, reserving those clauses which were essential, would be the most satisfactory way of reviewing the matter, lie would be pleased to"take up the matter with the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, at the first suitable opportunity. The importance of giving confidence to the business community, compatible with the interest of the community as a whole, was never more neces'sary than it was to-day, concluded Mr. Coates.
