A motor car skidded into the kerb at. the intersection of Dawson and Vivian Streets, and turnd a somersault ,landing with its wheels in the air against a. stone wall. The windscreen was smashed, t lie hood crumpled level with the top of the body, and the steering-wheel forced into the body of ■ the car. The vehicle was driven by Mr L. ,T. Tracey, of Tulnga, with Mr A. R. Simmons, of Wcstowh, as a passenger. They suffered only a few cuts about the handy from toying glass.
