MINIATURE RIFLES.

THE HAMILTON CLUB, SUMMER SEASON OPENED. GOOD SHOOTING RECORDED. An unofficial shoot as an opening to the summer season of the Hamilton Miniature Rifle Club was held on the Drill Hall range on Wedhesday evening. Some very good shooting was recoi'dOd, N. Devitt scoring a possible and two 69's. This is the second possible shot since the commencement of the club, the first going to the credit of Mr G. F. Thomas during the winter season. Several trophies have been presented for the summer session and competition shooting will he commenced next week. The best cards returned for the evening were: N. Devitt,, 70 (possible); Miss J.
