The M.C.C. touring team will commence the second match of its tour of Australia to-day against a combined team. The weather is ideal, and the wicket is good and fast. The teams are:—England.—Jardtne (captain), Allen, Pataudi, Sutcliffe, Hammond, Duckworth, Ames, Leyland, Mitchell, Verity, Paynter. Bowes is twelfth man. Combined.—Bryant (captain), Martin, Lovelock, Evans, Hill-Smith, Hatcombe (West Australia), Lonergan V. Richardson (S.A.), Bradman, Fingleton, McCabe (N:S.W.), Inverarlty (West Australia) is twelfth man. The gate is insured for £4OO against 10 points of rain on Saturday, the premium being £2B.
