ADVERTISING HOARDING
NEAR RAILWAY BRIDGE. APPLICATION BEFORE COUNOIL. SITE TO BE INSPECTED. An application to erect an advertising hoarding near the railway ramp at the Claudelands end of the railway bjldge was before the Borough Council last evening. “ It Is a position which I think some members of the council should . see before any deoision is given," stated the borough inspector, Mr J. W. Lewis, In a report on the application. “ The position Is one which may give rise to comment, especially..the advertising of a business far distant from the vioinlty and which oannot be olaasifled as anything but a hoarding." It was decided that the Works Committee visit the proposed site.
