THE HAMILTON CLUB.
VISIT FROM TE AROHA. RESULTS OF THE PLAY. The Te Aroha Ladies’ Golf Club visited St. Andrews to-day and played a match against the Hamilton Ladies’ Club. The weather was ideal, and many interesting games were played. Singles were played in the morning, Te Aroha winning seven games to Hamilton’s eleven. Two games were all square. Foursomes were played this afternoon. Following were Ihe results of the singles, Te Aroha players being mentioned first: — Mrs Halligan beat Miss Wilkinson, 2 and 1. Mrs Hunger beat 'Mrs Sutherland, 3 and 2. Mrs Kenny lost to Mrs Arthur, 4 and 3. Mrs Smith lost to Mrs Hazard, 4 and 3. Mrs Bliss lost to Miss Provis, 2 and 1. Mrs Willis lost to Mrs Shaw, 7 and 6. Mrs McLeod lost to Mrs Russell, 2 and 1. Mrs McGlashan lost to Miss McLean, 7 and 5. Mrs Dempster beat Miss Vickery, 1 up. Mrs Mackle lost to Mrs G. Brown, a and 3. Mrs Wylie- lost to Mrs Grooott, 1 up. Mrs Murphy lost to Miss Seavill, 1 up. Mrs Clarke beat Mrs Ross, 3 and 2. •Mrs Gaw lost to Mrs W. Smith, 7 and 6. Miss Cowley lost to Miss Cann, 7 and 5. Miss Kenny beat' Miss Pratt, 3 and 2. Mrs Leitch beat Mrs Griffiths, 1 up. Miss Manning beat Mrs Kemp, 5 and 4. Mrs Cullen and Mrs Savage, all square. Miss Hamilton and Mrs J. Horton, all square.
