WOMEN’S DIVISION.
HILLCREST BRANCH. The second monthly meeting of the Ilillcrest branch of the Women’s Institute was held in Nixon Street Hall on August 10, 1932. Mrs Trownson, of Matangi, spoke on Institute work and the recent meeting of the Federation Executive; she also gave a demonstration of moccasin making and exhibited a tray. Competitions were won by Mesdames Roberts and Hamilton.
