BIRTHDAY PARTY.
GEO. KINGSTON CABARET. A very successful birthday cabaret was held on Saturday evening at the Geo. Kingston Cabaret. A large crowd attended and spent a very Jolly time. During the evening Miss Wiki McDonnell gave vocal items and demonstration of the hula dance. Mr Bob McNicol played a dance Item on the piano and Phyllis Davies and George Kingston demonstrated the foxtrotwaltz. Stan Holland’s band was at its best, and the different items came over the air very clearly. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Everything possible was done to make it a good carnival night, there being confetti, streamers, bats, and other novelties.

Garland Rotorua), pale mauve taffetas; Miss Mavis Zellman, salmon pink ninon; Miss Eva Beeche, black panne velvet; Miss Elva Fraser, rose pink satin beaute; Miss Muriel Barber, pink satin beaute; Miss Mary Barber, white georgette; Miss Gwen West (Cambridge), black taffetas; Mrs W. Sloane, black panne velvet; Miss Rangi McDonnell, black ring velvet; Mrs Sian Holland, pink georgette and black lace; Miss Dafihno Gould, flame satin beaute; Miss Doris Flcxman, midnight blue georgette; Miss Audry Graham, white satin beaute; Mrs G.
