GISBORNE, Saturday. * Thomas Barber, a single middle aged man living with his sister at Ormond, was found lying dead near the riverbed with a gun beside his body. SURFACEMAN KILLED. GORE, Saturday. Charles Gutschlag, a railway surfaceman, aged 40, married with four children, was run over by a trolly al Otaniita this morning and killed.
