HAMILTON CLUB. TITIRANGI v. HAMILTON. ANNUAL MATCH PLAYED. The annual inter-club match with the Titirangi Golf Club was played at Hamilton during the week-end. The series resulted in a win for the local club by 20 matches to 9, four being all square. Two of tlie four-ball games were, not finished on account of the rain. Two teams from each club took part in the senior games. _ The only Titirangi player to win his singles match was A. J. Good. The juniors won five singles to the local players’ four. Tn the singles match between McCrystal and Black both players were round in 77 but McCrystal was In the lead most of the way. Black squared the match by winning the 17th In 4 and the last hole was halved In 5. Some excellent golf was witnessed in the principal four-ball game when H. D. Brinsden partnered McCrystal against Black and Colbeck. The former, who had not had the advantage -of a game on Saturday, was right off his game, and beyond winning the 3rd was of no assistance to his partner. The two Hamilton players were out in 36, MoCrystal taking one stroke more, and at this stage the visitors were two down. The match was won on the 15th by 4 up and 3 to play and Black and Colbeck were eaoh 5 under 4’s at -this stage—bogey is two over 4's. The last three holes were not played -on account of the rain which made conditions unpleasant for about an hour. HAMILTON CLUB.
