Though official permission has been refused for a Communist anti-war demonstration and a nias-s meeting in the city, it is believed llie organisers intend to-day to -carry out their programme. Hundreds of police will be on special duty to prevent the inarch. Notices -calling on “ Workers to mobilise against the war-mongers ” have been posted throughout the city.
