OPERATIONS AT AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph.—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Monday. The new week on the Stock Exchange opened quietly with most quotations based on week-end values. An exception was in the case of Bank of New Zealands, which showed further advance with a sale at £2 7s j 3d. Unions had their first sale since the dividend was paid, and were transferred at Is Gd lower. The holders of Nationals raised their limits I to £3 Its. j After further business at £2 Os Gd j New Zealand Insurances were still ! wanted at that figure, j Taupiri Coal Mines were asked for, with buyers at Lis Gd for ord. and . 17s Gd for profs. 1 In Government stocks, -if per cents seemed a little easier, with buyers’ limits brought down to £93 10s. .
