HUMOROUS PRODUCTION. FIRST CHURCH’S PERFORMANCE. Music, drama and physical culture all occupied a prominent place in the entertainment given by members of I lie Young People’s Club of the First ' Church, Frankton, in the Church Hall , on Saturday before a large attendance. Of principal Interest was the staging of the “tense mystery drama,” ‘Room 13." By means of curythmics all the grace and animation, suggested by spring, summer, autumn and winter, were embodied In dances and ballets in which iho following took part: Misses Iris Ghoat, Florence Stanburg, Sandy Atkins, Dorothea de Montalk, Winsome Scudder, Ruria Kay,, Amy Dempster, Gladys Jones, Joyce Tomlinson, Gwen Haynes, and Maurlne Thomas. An entr’acte, taking the form of a duet and accompanying ballet with Misses Janet Patterson and Ruria Kay singing “Visions of What Used to be” assisted by a chorus of girl canoeists was also well received. Thc concert wilt be repeated on Monday evening, while on Wednesday it will be staged at Whatawhata.
