AUCKLAND GAMES. ' THE CHATHAM CUP. WIN FOR Y.M.C.A. AUCKLAND, Monday. A dour and stubbornly-fought-out corniest between Y.M.C.A. and Tramurcwa in the local final of the Chatham Cup e.liminatng round on Saturday, ended in victory for the Y.M.C.A. by two goals to one. In the second spell Y M.C.A. scored both their goals, decisions which were vehemently opposed by Tramurewa. Tempers be,came frayed thereafter, ending in one Tramurewa player being ordered to the pavilion. The winners will play Wanderers at Hamilton on July 30 for the provincial final. The senior grade games at Auckland on Saturday resulted: —Glen Innes 4, beat New Lynn 2; Ponsonby 6, bea Onehunga 3; North Shore 4. beat Thistle 2. representative team. The Auckland representative team to play Otago at Dunedin on August 6 in a challenge for the Football Association Trophy has been selected as follows: —Zuill (Onehunga), R. Stone (Glen Innes), P. Gerrard (Shore), Morrison (Ponsonby), Christie (Y.M.C.A.), Grant (Ponsonby), Innas (Ponsonby), Blackie (Shore), McLeay (Thistle), Hislop (Thistle), Kay (Y.M.C.A.). Reserve: Gill (Shore). Wright (Thistle) and Stewart (Ponsonby) were not available. HUNTLY THISTLE DEFAULT. Iluntly Thistle were to have played the United team at Hamilton on Saturday but they defaulted the game. A scratch game between United and Athletic was played. WIN FOR ROVOWARO. Playing at Rotowaro on Saturday Wanderers were defeated by eight goals to nil. SCHOOL GAMES.
