: PATERSON CUP CHALLENGE. AUCKLAND CLUB DEFEATED. The Hamilton Harriers sustained a challenge for the Paterson: Cup on Saturday afternoon, when they ■ accounted for a team representing the -Calliope Harriers, an .Auckland Club, who visited Hamilton' in quest of the trophy. The home club has held the oup for the past two seasons, and their win on Saturday was the result of good team work. The challenge was decided over a-'course of four and a half ■ miles,-., commencing at the residence of.Mp and Mrs E. E. Hale, on'the Silverdale v ßoad.
