CAGE BIRD CLUB
THE HAMILTON SOCIETY. SHOW TO BE HELD. A meeting of the recently-formed Hamilton Canary and Cage Bird Club was held on Saturday evening, when arrangements were made for holding the first show on Friday and Saturday, July 8 and !>. , The schedule which was adopted comprises various classes for Yorkshire and Norwich canaries, and British and foreign birds, also special classes for the pets of children. The secretary reported having received a large number ol' donations of cups, trophies and cash, to. be offered as special prizes, and with'a large number of entries expected from fanciers in liuntly and Auckland, added to those of local enthusiasts, the club seems certain to meet with success in its initial venture.
