DRIVER ON TRAIN KILLED. FIREMAN’S TRAGIC DISCOVERY. (By Telegram.—Press Association.} STRATFORD, Thursday. On the Whangamomona line this morning .the driver of a mixed train to Stratford, James Foreman, was killed. •The train was ascending a gradient on the Whangamomona saddle when the fireman, Charles Parker, who was. tending the fire, felt a bump. He turned to draw the driver’s attention, but found that Foreman was sing.He stopped the train and searched, and the body was found under the seventh wagon, terribly mutilated.
