REFERRED TO APPEAL COURT. CHARGE AGAINST SOLICITOR. (By Association.) WELLINGTON. Thursday. In the Supreme Court Mr Justice Kennedy referred for -consideration of the Appeal Court a motion by the Southland District Law Society for a rule nisi lo he made absolute calling on Pe‘er Gllfedder, barrister and solicitor, to show cause why -lie should not be struck from the roll. One of Ihe offences alleged was slated to be the receipt of £.)0.) paid for a definite purpose, but not wholly used for such purpose, and not now In the trust account. The practitioner's reply was that under an arrangement with his clients he was entllled-to assume that lie could draw for costs, disbursements, and the payment of purchase money.
