ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
CARS IN COLLISION. DRIVERS ESCAPE WITH SHAKING. PUKEKOHE, Thursday. A car driven by Mrs B. Foy, of Pukekohe Hill, and a taxi driven by Mr G. Pleydell, collided. The ta*i turned over on its side. Mrs Foy’s car also suffered considerably. The two drivers, who were the only occupants of the cars, escaped with a shaking. * OYCLISTB INJURED. AUCKLAND, Friday. As he was riding along Dominon Road last evening, a cyclist, Barry Cecil George, aged 15, oollided with the back of a motor-truck and was thrown to the roadway. He received concussion and injuries to the head. Mr William Partney, aged 22, as the result of a fall from a bicycle yesterday, received a fracture of the left shoulder and concussion. RECEIVED ELECTRIC SHOCK. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NELSON, Thursday. While engaged in painting a residence at Brightwater, Mr Gus Brown, aged 20, walked backwards on the verandah. into an electric wire. He was rendered unconscious by the shock and has not regained consciousness.
