UNEMPLOYED BOYS.
MOVEMENT TO ASSIST. RURAL TRAINING CENTRE. (riy Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Thursday. A movement to assist boys out of employment was approved by the Council of the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association. One of the proposals Is that boys are to be sent to a rural training centre, such as Ruakura or other institution, where short-term courses will be arranged for a period of from two to four weeks, to enable the boys to see their objectives and adapt themselves to the varying conditions and methods of farming. These boys are to be afterwards drafted to selected farms.
