62 STRIKERS LOSE JOBS. 60 VOLUNTEERS TAKEN ON. (By Tpirnrarh.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. Twenty-flvo ex-strikers who have lost positions with the tramways have received refunds of their superannuation, aggregating £I72S, or £69 each. In all 52 ex-strikers lost their positions and 60 volunteers have now been permanently engaged.
