CLAY-BIRD SHOOTING,
AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. TO BE HELD AT MORRINSVILLE. The Auckland provincial clay-bird championship will be contested at the Morrlnsvllle Gun Club’s grounds on Saturday. The championship meeting has been awarded to the Morrinsvllle Club this year In recognition of the unbeaten record of the club In inler-club matches for the past few seasons. Two handicap sweepstakes of £25 each will bo the principal events on Friday. On Saturday the provincial championship, which carries with It a gold medal, will be the leading event.
