In tile Police Court Richard James Schofield (67). seaman, pleaded not guilty lo charges of having in his possession for sale copies of llic Red Worker, which expressed seditious intention, and of having copies of the same paper inciting lawlessness. Detective Brady said when he arrested Schofield on April 19 lie had a number of copies of tiio paper in his possession. He had been selling copies In Karangahapc Road on the night of tiio rioting.
