At the Leeds golf tourney on the Moort'own course the following were the third round results:— Seymour beat Barber, 2 and 1. Robson beat Rhodes, 3 and 2. Hodgson beat E. Whitcombe, 2 and 1. Rain swamped the course necessitating delays while the water was swept from the waterlogged greens. The veteran of the field, Robson, played superlatively to defeat the spectacular Yorkshireman, Rhodes.
