NO INSTRUCTIONS RECEIVED

(By Telegraph.—press As.wl.ition.) AUCKLAND, Saturday

Although the primary schools will re-open on Monday no official information has reached Auckland concerning the raising of the school age from five to six years.

It is expected that a number of parents will on Monday endeavour to enroll children below the age of six. The chairman of the Education Board said that as It had not heard from the Department, which had probably been rushed, it was unable to Instruct .headmasters. The latter will be well advised to postpone, enrolments until instructions have been received.
