As Chide won the Dangar Handicap, 1£ miles, with 9.7, at Randwlok, ho is not badly treated In the Brisbane Cup with an additional 6lb. It Is not so muoh
the weight as the dlstanoe, that may be the trouble, even though the company will not be quite flrst-olacs. In New .Zealand Chide won up to two and a quarter miles, but In Sydney a mile and tnree-quarters has proved a trifle far for him, and though the company In the Brisbane Cup on June 8 Is not hlgh-olass, It probably Inoludes something that, at the difference In weight?, will prove too good for Chide at two miles.
