Gilbert and Sullivan operas are as popular in America, as they proved recently in New Zealand. In a recent week a touring company took £SOOO.

“The Ringer,” the Edgar Wallace play which Hamilton saw some years ago, was produced in Now Y'ork last month. Two other Wallace plays, "The Man Who Changed His Name” ami “The Green Pack," will be staged in New York shortly.
