MASCULINE NOTE.
PRINCE OF WALES SHOES. DIVIDED SKIRT. According to a recent London cable, Dame Fashion is encroaching more and more on tho masculine field for •smart notions in feminine frocking. Sydney women have long favoured tire sports and panamas and fells, shirtblouses, and ties, and flat-heeled brogues for sired wear and for sport. The newest, neckwear for women is of a definitely masculine type. Ties of spoiled or patterned silk are worn with the tailored costume, loosely knotted at the Ihroal. Felt and striped silk bells are anolher masculine note, which is finding favour with the fair sex. The, Prince of Wales has been responsible for the revival of Urn popularity of brown suede shoes, which lie favours for all sports wear. The fair sex have gone further, and suede, in every variety of shade, from black lo green, is tho present mode for day wear. Divided skirls for golf are, becoming more and more popular on Sydney golf courses. Fashioned wilh wide, full pleats. Hie. trouser effect is so concealed that ii. is only when the player places her feel firmly apart to swing for the ball that the bifurcation is apparent.
