THE AUCKLAND MARKETS. FAIRLY BRISK DEMAND. (By Telegraph.—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Friday. The fresh bidding this morning found a fairly brisk demand for banking and also for insurance shares. Breweries were in request with buyers at £1 -is Ud. In the mining section Blackwaters were asked for at Bs, Consolidated Gobi at 3s id, and Alexandra at 16s received special attention. Government slocks were unchanged, with buyers for -it per cents at £'32 to £U2 ss. and for ;>J per cents at £9<s Ills to £1)8 12s 6d.
