THE AUOKLAND MARKETS. FRESH BIDDING QUIET. (By Telegraph.—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Monday. * The fresh bidding was quiet with few important changes in quotations. Bank of New Zealands eased after a sale at £2 4s 9d. The best buyers stopped at £2 4s 6d, with sellers offering to take £2 ss. Nationals of Australasia were on offer at £lO 2s 6d, but buyers dropped back to £9 14s. Auckland Gas were steady, with buyers at £1 Os 6d for fully-paid and 14s lOd for contributing. Breweries were firm, with buyers at £1 4s. For Woolworth’s prefsr, £1 3s was available. Government stocks were unaltered. Kempthorne-Prosscrs were Inquired tor at £2 Gs. SALES RECORDED.
