Mrs X. le Petit, of Auckland, Is visiting Hamilton.

Mrs Graham Mclntosh, of Wellington, who has been visiting Hamilton, left yesterday for Auckland.

Mrs L. ‘Lawrence, of Manurewa, is visiting her daughter, Mrs C. Hope, in Hamilton.

Mrs Strachan, of Otorohanga, has returned home from a visit to her daughter, Mrs lan McGregor, in Hamilton.

Mrs Hugh Stovell, of Gisborne, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs Parke Pittar, in Hamilton, will return home during the week-end.

Miss Lorna Nicholls, of Hamilton, is spending the school holidays in Auckland.

Miss Phyllis Reeves has left for Dunedin to be capped for her degree in Domestic Science, at the Otago University.

Miss Helen Gaze, of Hamilton, who has been on the teaching staff ol the Kawhia school, will spend the holidays at her home here.

Dr. de la Mare desires to state that In her address to the National Council of Women, she inadvertently ■stated that Mrs Kent-Johnston was elected a life member of the National Counoll of the Y.M.C.A. It was the life membership of the Hamilton branch of the ladies’ auxiliary to which Mrs Kent-Johnston. was, in fact, elected.
