HECTOR CRAY’S LICENSE. CANCELLED FOR SEASON. ACTION BY N.Z. CONFERENCE. WELLINGTON, Friday. Heotor Gray, New Zealand’s leading horseman, who Is undergoing a term of suspension, which expires at the end of this month, has had his license cancelled for the current season. This iction was taken to-day by the licensing committee of the New Zealand Racing Conference. The effect of the decision is that Gray cannot be employed by any trainer or owner in any capacity in connection with the. care, control, or training of any horse without the previous consent in writing of the licensing committee. The. decision does not debar .Gray from attending a racecourse.

L. G. MORRIS INJURED. The Marton trainer and jockey, L. G. Morris, broke a bone in his hand while schooling Consent one day this week. The Injury was received'when Consent slipped at a jump.

MAKE UP RE-HANDICAPPED. AUCKLAND, Saturday. As a result of his victory in the Egmont Steeplechase on Wednesday Make Up has been re-handicapped 4lt for the Great Northern Steeplechase, bringing his weight to JO.!). Nukumai, who won the Adamson Steeplechase on Thursday, will not be re-handicapped.
