RUGBY FOOTBALL.
NOMADS FOOTBALL CLUB. Mr J. D. Rivett presided at the annual meeting of members of the Nomads Football Club (Te Aroha). The balance sheet showed a credit balance of 12s 9d. The following officers were elected: Patron, Air R. Coulter; president, Mr ■N. Quirk; vice-presidents, Dr. W. R. Lawrence and Messrs .T. A. Hepburn and A. D. Jones; secretary and treasurer, Mr H. C. Kennedy; committee, Messrs J. D. Rivett, Tourell, J. H. Johnson, A. Watson, Clayton, G. Page, J. Inglls and Goddard; club captain, 11. Kennedy; coach, T. Mclnnes. Mr F.'W. Firkin, an ex-president of the club, was elected a life member. A donation of a ball was made by Mr J. 11. Evans; also a travelling rug by an anonymous donor to be awarded at the end of the season to the most Improved player.
