PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
SOCIAL AT GORDONTON. About 140 friends, from the various Presbyterian congregations in the Hamilton East Parish gathered In the Gordonton Hall to enjoy a splendid programme of items and' games. Contributions from the following were much appreciated:—Songs, Misses Primrose, Mrs Clarke. Messrs Firth, Primrose and Paul; pianoforte selection, Miss Jessie Riddington; recitations, Miss E’dith Williamson and Mr Primrose.
At the close of the programme, Rev. Hasiop thanked all who had helped lo make the evening such a pleasant one.
Supper was provided by the Gordonton ladies.
