JUNIOR CURTAIN-RAISER. EASY WIN FOR RUAKURA. Ruakura, in the junior curtainraiser lo tho senior game on No. 1 ground, had no difficulty in defeating the High School first fifteen by 37 points to 6. At half-time Ruakura led 19—6; scorers being Parker and Altken, two tries each, and Pipson, one try. Altken and Pipson each converted a try. Hubbard and McGowan kicked penalties for High School. In the second half Ruakura were early on attack, Parker crossing the line for a try, which Aitkcn failed to convert,. Altken romped home again, Pipson converting his Iry. Ruakura wont across for two more tries before the game ended. Third Grado Match. In the third grade game on No. 2 ground. Technical Old Boys heat Te Kowliai by 16 points to 3.
