MOTOR SPEED RECORD.
ANOTHER ATTEMPT. MURIWAI BEACH MENTIONED. WHANGAREI, Monday. It is understood that Mr Nudl, the ignition expert flew to Murlwai Beach to-day to report on the suitability of the beach for a land speed record attempt. If the report is satisfactory Mr Norman Smith will probably try there. It is understood that the Auckland Automobile Association views the proposal favourably.
