LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, of Balfour M Irvine and Webster, Ltd., supplies the following observations of the weather: — Barometer. Monday ..... 29.75. Thermometer. Max. Min. Sunday 66.0 65.0 Barometer steady at 29.75. Indications are for cloudy and unsettled weather to-day and possibly to-morrow with wanner temperature. Winds chiefly from a northerly direction and heavy showers. Mean temperature 65.5 degrees. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day are for southerly winds, moderate to strong. The weather will probably prove cold and showery, but gradually improving. Barometer rising.
