WEDDING.
HALLINAN—EVEREST. The marriage was solemnised atFirst Church, Frankton, on the evening of April 20, between Frances Isabel, only daughter of Mr and Mrs F. W. Everest, 10 King Street, Frankton, and Henry Joseph Hallinan, of Taihape, eldest son of the late Mr and Mrs Hallinan, of Dunedin. Rev. J. S. Atkins performed the ceremony. The bride, who entered tire church with her father, wore a frock of ivory georgette and lace, with a veil of ivory tulle, which fell to form a train. She carried a bouquet of white lilies and maidenhair fern. Tlie bridesmaid was Miss Nancy Brasell, who wore a frock of pink georgette and lace, fashioned in Victorian style. She wore a pink picture hat and carried a bouquet of gold chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. Mr E. W. Everest was best man.
A reception was held at the George Kingston Studio, Mrs Everest receiving her guests in a frock of black satin beanie, and wearing a hat of black crinoline straw. She carried a posy of red flowers. Mrs Wm, Keon, aunt of the groom, was wearing a brown silk chenille ensemble.
Later die brido and groom left for the South, where the honeymoon is being spent, the bride travelling in a black pinhead tailored suit. They will make their home in Taihape.
