SUNDAY SCHOOL. Owing to the recent illness of Mrs A. Goodwin, the Sunday School Superintendent, the usual break-up party for the scholars has been held over till a later date, but on Christmas Sunday morning the prizes and certificates, won by the children during the year, were presented, the winners being as follows: —Diplomas for one year’s perfect attendance: William Sexton, Noel Sexton, Ashley Sexton, Mervyn Sexton, James Sexton, Douglas Steenson, Oscar Lynds, Keith McEldowney. Marearet Boyd. Jean Graham, Jean Scott, Valerie McEldowney, Jessie Steenson.
Prizes were awarded to Mabel Willoughby, Margaret Boyd, Jean ham, Ruby Willoughby, Jean Scott, Flora McDonald, Flossie Higgins, Jessie Steenson, Sheila McDonald, Joan Cowie, .loan Oarmnnsway, Klva Boyd, Valerie McEldowney, Joy King, Beryi Cowie, Eileen Searle, Heather McDonald. Merle Weal, Marion Cunningham, Eslhcr Boyd, Doris Weal, Noeline Fisher, William Sexton. Douglas Steenson, Noel Scxlon, Douglas Kite, Ashley Sexton, Mervyn Sexton, .Tames Sexton, Edwin Scarle, Eric Farrell, Murray Boyd, Colin Fisher, Arthur Weal, Galvin Garmonsway, Leister, Roy and Allan Cunningham, Oscar Lvncls, Alfred Weal, Selwyn Lochie, William Searle, Keith McEldowney, Roy and Moryvn Garmonsway, Wallace Scott, James Cowie, John Lynds, Terence Searle, Edward Hagan, Brian Tarr and Philip McEldowney. Mrs Goodwin would like to take this opportunity of thanking the children for the many cards and kind gifts which sho received from them at Christmas. Church Service. The monthly methodist service xvas held on Sunday. There was a good congregation. Miss Scott presided at the organ.
