MOTOR SPEED RECORDS

NEW TIMES SET. BRITISH MACHINE'S BUCCESB. (Omcial Wireless.) RUGBY, Dec. 22. Four new international motor speed records were set up to-day by Captain C. E. T. Eyston, on -a British M.G. Midget car, of 750 c.c. capacity, on the Montlhery track with the following speeds:—s kilometres, 184.71 kilometres an hour; 5 miles, 184.GG kilometres an hour; 10 kilometres, 184.62 kilometres an hour; 10 miles, 184.? kilometres an hour. Interest has been aroused in connection with the reported Intention of the racing motorist, Earl Howe, to enter three M.'G. Magna cars, 9-12 horse-power, 6-cylinder models for the Italian Mille Miglia race in April. It is suggested the team w'ould include Earl How'e himself, Sir Henry Birkin and Captain Eyston.
