LATEST RETURNS. DECREASE UNDER ALL HEADS, United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received August 14, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, August 43. The latest Board of Trade returns show the following decreases: — Imports £15,020,004 Exports £16,494,000 Re-exports £1,927,000
The principal decreases were:—lmports: Grain and flour, £1,042,000; meat, £1,170,000; dutiable food and drink, £1,207,000; wood and timber, £1,668,000; raw wool, £1,040,000; oil, seeds, etc., £876,000; nonferrous metals, £751,000; oils and fats manufactures, £2,716,000. Exports: Food and drink, £1,119,000; coal, £1,021,000; iron and steel and manufacture* thereof, £2,295,000; machinery, £l,746,000; cotton yarns manufacture*, £2,093,000; woollen ditto, £760,000 1 vehicles, £1,859,000.
