SCOTCH BANK ROBBED.
-o CASHIER KILLED. BANDITS OBTAIN £2OOO. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. 'Copyright. LONDON, Aughst 13. Mr Robert Donald, aged 24, cashier of the Radnor Park, Dumbartonshire, branch of the Clydesdale Bank, Glasgew, was found with his head battered, and £2OOO had been stolen. Mr Donald was in sole charge of the bank. The shocking Injuries to his head were caused by a jemmy and a hammer. He died five minutes after he was found. The police have no clue, but believe there was more than one assailant, who made a lightning raid on the bank just as the branch was closed.
