THEFT OF RINGS.
.RESTITUTION BEING MADE. AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Charles Montague Pearce, farm hand, aged 18 years, appeared before the Magistrate, Mr Hunt, charged with stealing two rings from a farmer at Ngaruawahla after he was dismissed and pawning them. Mr Hunt adjourned the case for a month as restitution was being made and Pearce was leaving for his home in England on Saturday.
